I want to know how does a mobile operator ensure he is getting his revenues, about airtime sold, deferred revenue and so on. All on how gsm works!

Interesting question – but GSM is a technical protocol – it has nothing to do with billing or other mobile operator infrastructure and management software. You are asking about business practices such as billing and cash flow management. It would be like asking whether a diesel car or an unleaded car has better windshield wipers!

With two similtanious copmpetitions with One containing the Wales, Scotland, France, Ireland England and Italy and played as normal, whilst the second contains another six European national teams, for example Romania, Georgia, Russia, Spain, Portugal, and Germany. The winner of this lower competition would play against the ‘Big Boys’ in the next tournament and the Wooden Spoon from the main comp would get to play with the minnows.

It would probably result in the Wooden spoon team coming back the next year, but it would encourage the smaller teams, provide revenue and coverage and now that Italy isnt a guaranteed Wooden Spoon every year, add some veriety.

theres already a 2nd tier competition but they dont qualify for six nations i think that we should because it will make teams that are coming last play for something rather than nothing

Global Warming is killing the planet. So our brain trust is congress is looking for ways to reduce carbon emissions. So they are proposing Cap and Trade.

A key element in Cap & Trade proposals to limit greenhouse gases is how to allocate carbon-dioxide emissions allowances to companies.

Proposals include a government-run auction, which would generate revenue for the U.S. Treasury.

But a detailed industry-backed blueprint unveiled last week calls for a significant number of emissions allowances to be given to companies as free allotments, which would curb the cost of compliance and mitigate price increases for consumers.

While both proposals would likely mean higher electric costs for utilities, relying solely on a government auction would mean dramatically higher rates, according to Duke Energy, which has about 1.3 million electric customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Duke played a key role in developing the blueprint for the allotment program presented to Congress by the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, a coalition of 32 corporations, including General Electric, DuPont and General Motors.

More than 95 percent of the electricity Duke sells in the local region is from carbon-dioxide producing coal-fired generating plants.

An analysis Duke Energy did last summer showed that an initial $30-a-ton carbon emission price would cost the utility an additional $629 million a year in 2012 when fully effective, and mean a 35 percent rate increase for industrial, commercial and residential customers.

A $44-a-ton price would cost $864 million and mean a 48 percent rate increase, said John Stowell, vice president of environmental policy for Duke Energy Ohio.

So can you afford a 35 to 48% increase in your home heating bill? How are the poor going to pay for this?

2008 was the coolest year in over a decade. 2009 right now is well below the normals. So are we warming or cooling?

Dems pushing hard for global warming regulations:

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D95NNE8O0&show_article=1

yes it will. i listened to one of the top meteorologist in the nation say that it has been calculated to add about 375.00 per month to the average residential electicity bill. this is not including the industrial sectors that are already in dire straits. many of the leading scientists are changinging the mind and are becoming more worried about global cooling now. i farm corn, cotton and soybeans in the southern u.s. and the last 2 springs we have set record lows in april and records for the latest freeze date. our corn was burned to the ground by late freezing temps. the last 2 years. the meteorologist that spoke said that global warming is crap. actually the last 2 years have been cooler than average for the usa. there are proposals by liberal democrats to tax livestock for farting out green house gases, does this mean that one day we tax humans for farting and if so will we need fart police to ticket us for farting and destroying the planet?

My boyfriend called revenue canada requesting copies of his 2007 t4’s a few weeks ago, they said that they would be in the mail in 7 Business days but it is taking much longer…..should I be worried that they aren’t coming??

i called for mine and i got them within the 7 days.. maybe the delay is because it is tax season and everyone is filing and calling give it till the end of this week, then maybe call

http://www.rev.state.la.us/forms/taxforms/1300(4_01)f.pdf#search=’Employees%20withholding%20allowance%20certificate%20L4′

type that into your browswer or if it’s a link click it.
on that site there is a form i have to fill out.
the part i am confused about is the personal allowances worksheet at the top. would i put 0, 1, or 2?
i am 17 and this is my first job and my parents still pay my taxes? so if anyone knows could you please help!

In Block A and B, you’d put 0. This means your parents are going to claim you on their tax return, so when you file your tax return in 2007 (for the money you made in 2006) you will not be receiving your personal deduction. This form tells your employer how much money to withhold for state income taxes.

Congrats on getting a job, it’s good to see.

My Federal state taxes were accepted by the IRS on 1/23, State accepted on 1/25 per my tax software. Checked both sites IRS and MD State Authority and IRS updated there information to show they received my information today, State updated and showed it on there system on 1/26. I was able to find the check issuance cycle for the IRS but haven’t been able to locate anything for Maryland State Revenue. Can someone tell me where I can find it? I am trying to determine an approximate date I will receive my State refund. According to IRS I should receive my Federal by 2/10. And I will be receiving my funds through direct deposit. Thank you all for you help!!
Thank you Camryn but i have this site information, I am looking for State information not Federal. I’ve already checked everything on IRS website but thanks anyway!

I don’t think there is a cycle chart for state. In the past it never took more than a week or so but I’ve now been waiting 11 days for mine. Perhaps call a tax professional and ask if they know

I am making an operating budget with Microsoft Excel. In the first step, I need to make a Revenues Budget. My question is, can the total revenues budgeted be a negative number? My gut feeling is no, because how can there be a.) a negative number of units sold and/or b.) a negative price per unit.

Am I correct in assuming that revenues cannot possibly be a negative number?

Thanks for any help.

In general, I think you would be correct to set it up that way. If you had an allowance account and had returns that exceeded the allowance and current sales in a given month I could picture a negative number at the revenue level, but I think that would be an extreme situation.

I would say about a fourth of ours is livestock. Over half, maybe 60+% is dogs, around10% cats, and the last five percent would be sales and exotics. Exotics would run less than one percent of the revenue.
We are in a rural area.

What type of animals are most common at your clinics?

I work for an emergency vet. We are strictly small animals. However, it depends on the vet who is on call any particular evening! Some will see exotics, some will not. Some are strictly dogs and cats, some will include pocket pets, etc. It just really depends.

We’re in the middle of rural areas, but for emergency cases we only see the small stuff. There are other vet’s in the area who will do large animal.

Texas has an extensive program of tuition subsidies for higher education. In-state tuition at colleges and universities is considerably lower than that for out-of-state students. Loans, grants, scholarships, etc. help students to afford college education. All taxpayers contribute to this subsidy, even those without children or any probability of attending college in Texas.

Is this a fair and proper use of tax revenue? Is there justification for this tax burden or should tuition cost be an individual responsibility? Are differences between in and out-of-state tuition appropriate? Should everyone be entitled to a college education?
Can anyone offer more than yes and no questions? I’m writing an essay for my government class and I need opinions. Yes and no doesn’t do me much for quotes.
*That should say yes and no answers.

The first easy answer is – differences in in0-state and out-of-state tuition is justified, since in-state people already pay taxes that support the school/college system and out-of-state folks don’t.

As for fair and proper use, one could argue that in fact, even those folks without kids benefit by the subsidy. An educated workforce (which is what you get through the higher education system) is more productive and contributes to higher standards of living. These higher earnings and standards of living benefit all residents by keeping money in state, contributing to higher wages across the board and further contributing to either increased personal/property tax receipts or (if the extra tax receipts aren’t needed) lower tax rates. College educated workers over a lifetime make twice as much as high school educated workers. This extra income that you may have subsidized is taxed and spent.
