One series of patterns for scrapbooking paper that is very popular are the patriotic patterns. Ideal for any images, the stars, including scarlet, red or blue are a perfect background on vellum. Another nice background is the navy gingham and stars especially on vellum. The patterns will not disturb the presentation of the pictures.
