Success with Article Marketing
16.April, 2010
Always choose your keywords/phrases wisely. Do not use high monthly searches as the sole basis of your choices. You can sometimes be misled because people will search on strange things for their own reasons.
You’ll get the best results when you use simple keywords that are relevant within your articles. The phrase: “marketing articles big business profits huge” is an unusual search query, so if you find something like that and the numbers are attractive, be careful with it and probably avoid it. If you try to work phrases like that into your articles, you may end up with few readers and no click-throughs.
Only submit a few of your articles each day. Naturally, people want to submit as fast as possible. However, this will slow your efforts to attain your marketing goals. If you submit everything your article will all get pushed down by other submissions. Furthermore, you can only submit a certain number of traffic ultimatum on any given day.

15.April, 2010
Make sure your articles have correct information and are free from mistakes. Do your research as much as possible at all times, and never include your opinions and present them as facts. You would be surprised at the number of people who will want to verify your facts, so be sure that can be done. You can destroy your reputation online if you attempt to pass along false information or opinion as fact. Keep track of your sources so that you can have them ready if anybody asks you where you have gotten your information.
Try to find less popular im eye to submit your articles. You’ll receive a great deal more targeted traffic if you can get published as a guest on a well-placed blog/site. There’s also nothing wrong with trying to get published locally, just be sure your URL is visible. Just do some poking around, and you’ll quickly find there are many other places you can use. Just use a little bit of creative thinking, and you’ll probably be glad you did.

Choosing Between PPC and SEO
09.April, 2010
There are two major search engine marketing strategies in use today: SEO (search engine optimization) and PPC (pay-per-click). Both strategies are entirely different and it is tough to decide which one or which combination is right for you.
To decide which strategy is best for you, consider the basics. It is easier to judge the pros and cons when taking the big picture into account. People will continue to battle for the top search engine positions. Search engine marketing is undoubtedly one of the best sources of targeted traffic.
As people continuously try to find new and unique ways to get additional traffic to their web sites, the SEO industry continues to grow. PPC refers to advertising on a search engine that charges on a per click basis whenever a visitor clicks on one of your ads. The order of ads is usually based on bidding prices, meaning that the advertiser who bids the highest price per click will be listed first. These sponsored listings are known as PPC listings.
SEO tries to change your search engine ranking by looking at a number of factors including link popularity, Page Rank and so on. If your web site is search engine optimized then obviously you are more likely to have a good ranking in the search engines. A well-optimized and marketed site will be listed in the top results whenever a person searches for related keywords. One of the best benefits of SEO marketing is you don’t have to pay for any clicks! So, how can we decide which method is better? Both methods actually serve different purposes. However, one is likely to be a better fit for your business than the other one.
PPC
PPC traffic, rankings and results tend to be more stable and predictable than SEO, and, combined with its low cost, this makes PPC one of the more popular ways of advertising. Most companies try PPC before they try SEO, because it’s seen as more stable. In many cases PPC lets you rank well on the search engines, without having to do the tedious work involved in SEO – no finding link partners, posting links, creating content and so on. As long as you have the budget for it, the ranking is yours. Another advantage is that the listing will get posted when you want it and not when the search engine gets around to it. With PPC’s popularity growing day by day, the market is also getting competitive. You will find that CPC’s (costs per clicks) are steadily rising, and for a common man it is getting tough to invest much. As with most auctions, the more people bidding on PPC, the higher the prices get.
SEO
The main benefit of SEO is that it does not cost per click. The disadvantages are that the traffic to your website is more unpredictable and requires a lot of work. With SEO, you have to adapt and constantly change strategies as search engines change their algorithms. SEO is also slower than PPC, as many search engines don’t list new sites. So what should you choose? Well, it depends on how much money you are willing to spend, what your time line is, and what your return on investment is. If you have cash then PPC should be your first choice, as it produces fast results. PPC can also be used for testing the effectiveness of web sites. If you have time and money to invest in long-term results, SEO is an excellent option as well.
All and all, the best marketing strategy is typically to go with PPC in the short term to get immediate traffic and analyze conversions. SEO should then be taken with a long term view in mind, so you can reap the benefits of free traffic later on.

Why the Hell are There So Many Nutrition MLM’s?
09.April, 2010
Have you ever thought about why more than half of the MLM companies out there market nutritional products? There is some history there and it has to do with the way that multi-level marketing was supposed to work in theory. Nutralite, one of Amway’s flagship products, was one of the first products distributed through network marketing in the early half of the 20th century. Part of the theory behind it was that if someone consumes a nutritional product and it has phenomenal health benefits then people in their warm market will notice the improvement and ask how it happened. The distributor who is also the product user then introduces their friends and family members to the product and then they also become consumers and then distributors and the process repeats itself over and over. That is the way it was supposed to work in theory. The reality is that to build a big business in network marketing with a nutritional product you still must master fundamental business skills and you must recruit a lot of people to find a few who want success as badly as you do.

On-page vs. Off-page SEO
08.April, 2010
On-page SEO services involve making sure that the content of your website is rich with relevant keywords that the search engines will look for when a user keys in those keywords. These keywords will be present in the body of the articles to be found in your website, as well as on the title, the headings, as an alt text, and in other parts of the website.
On the other hand, off-page SEO services concern link building and marketing. Link building is an important aspect of SEO. The number of websites linking back to your own website is considered by search engines. The more quality links that your website has, the higher it could boost the website’s ranking.
Total Package Business Building Launch System
07.April, 2010
Rich Schefren and John Makepeace are steaming into a new launch. This time it’s their Total Package Business Buildin System which is all about romancing your prospects to amp up your response rates.
Well there’s a lot more to it than that such as …
1. Topicality
This is all about making your content, be it in an email or on a blog, relevant to the news or conversation in your niche. Laser focus on this because you are adding to something topical in a useful and valuable way. if your comments are seen to be insightful, you will build authority in the process.
2. Using Psychological Triggers
There is nothing new here that Jeff Walker and Frank Kern have not already talked about.
Let’s see…
Crowd psychology – if everyone else is taking this action, then I should be too.
You have this one hard wired into your psyche at school. You want to run with the in-crowd, be one of the boys, be seen as one of the cool kids so you listen to what the crowd is saying and do what the crowd is doing. When buying on line, people get references and recommendations from their friends on the social media networks like Facebook. They are more likely to act on their friends recommendations than on any other. [see entertainment below]
Fear and Greed – the basest of human emotions but nevertheless powerful ones when put to work withing your pre-launch content.
Scarcity – this works like a charm only if the reason you give is genuine. You have to mean what you say and say what you mean. Used in conjunction with deadlines, you’re on to a winner with this. First you have to build buzz and anticipation. Without them, scarcity is ineffective.
The desire to ‘touch the hem of the guru’ – with respect, this goes back to Jesus Christ. Today you can use it by setting up a blog and inviting people to comment on your posts. As the go-to guy in your niche, when you get involved in the conversation by interacting with your commenters, you will build rapport.
3. Stacking Deadlines
This is one is super effective. Used properly each deadline will ramp up your response rate. Each time, you announce a live chat or release a new piece of valuable content, you build in some scarcity by requiring a response by a certain date and time. The first time you do this. Not everyone will believe you. The second time, the number that do will increase. The more value you deliver each time, the more your response rate will rise. Your prospects are getting used to taking action when you ask them to. They are getting good value in return. This training comes in handy when you open the shopping cart and send that final ‘buy now’ email to them. John Makepeace talks of giving discounts for meeting deadlines. To me discounting, is the kiss of death. Add value… Yes… Discount…never.
4. Entertaining your prospects
Frank Kern is a master at this particular technique. Being an entertainer makes you like-able. If you are seen as a friend, you are well on the way to developing a ‘trusting relationship’ with the people on your list. That just leaves the need to establish your authority using social proof.
The first piece of pre-launch content is supposed to explode into your consciousness and grab your attention. The Total Package Business Building Pre-launch got underway with more of a whimper than a bang. You’ll have to wait for the second installment on January 28th to see whether Rich Schefren and Clayton Makepeace can up their game. I won’t be able to join you as I will be on a flight to join John Carlton, the kick-ass copywriter in San Diego.
