What is the breakdown of parking fine revenue?
28.December, 2009
I just read that parking fine revenue doesn’t go fully to councils and they only get a portion of it. Where does the rest go? The government? Private companies? Where?
It is exactly the same in every village and city in every country in the world. Each town has exactly the same budget, from NYC to the middle of the amazon jungle. The formula, however, is a secret.
How much revenue is being lost each year by not taxing churches?
07.December, 2009
If the US were to tax donations to churches and levy property taxes on the church property, how much extra revenue would this generate for the country?
There’s no reason for them not to pay property taxes. I just want a number lady.
Are you asking because your anti-church or because you really want to know? Because Churches along with other non-profits are just that… not for profit so why tax them, if they’re doing a service but not charging.
What does the gross profit to sales revenue ratio?
02.December, 2009
I mean it’s the net profit to sales revenue that should matter as it’s when the expenses have been paid for…!
Also, is gross profit margin the same thing as gross profit to sales revenue?
Thanks!
Gross profit – tax -dividend = Net profit.
Yes, both are same.

Total revenue is the total amount of money taken in by a business. An appliance firm determines?
20.November, 2009
Total revenue is the total amount of money taken in by a business. An appliance firm determines that when it sells x washing machines, the total revenue, R, in dollars, is given by the polynomial R = 147.18x – 0.1x^2. What is the total revenue from the sale of 121 machines?
R(x) = 147.18x – 0.1x^2
R(121) = 147.18(121) – 0.1(121)^2
R(121) = $16,344.68
What is National Insurance card alongside Inland Revenue letter? I have the NI Card but what is a revenue letter and from where I can get it?
I’m not sure what you mean, but my guess is you’re asking with regard to which document you’d require as proof of id?
In any case, the NI card is issued by the inland revenue dept. (formally known as HM Revenue and customs) which also sends you (from time to time) letters reminding you to pay tax, etc. The letter that you get from this dept concerning NI matters is for some reason, sometimes not accepted by banks as proof of address. But other correspondence from the same dept often is. Hope this answers your question!
How long can It take to get revenue sharing on videos?

How long can It take to get revenue sharing on videos?
I submitted all my videos for revenue sharing, But 3 of theme have been pending for like 3 days, they say a max of 48 hours.
Youtube is notorious for taking their sweet time in answering back, It is also automated and the software they use in their automated system sometimes screws up and people never hear from them again.
Did you know in the small print it says if they reject any or all your videos that they will (their auto-system) remove them. If you have any copyright material or material that is not completely yours that is what they will do. So if you do then you better hope their auto-system screws up a 2nd time by not removing your videos.
What is the difference between revenue and bookings?
11.November, 2009
In the financial world, I see people talk about revenue vs. bookings. What is the difference?
Booking would be the ‘future’ sales for a company. A company could take expected orders from customers for future dated sales. As these customers place actual sales orders, the booking for each customer would be reduced. Revenue would be recognized once a ‘booking’ is turned into an actual sales order.
Typically businesses that sell big-ticket, long lead time items (i.e. aircraft, solar cell furnaces) deal with an order book to help predict future revenue.
I want to get my business site active, so I can start generating revenue. How can I do that?
08.November, 2009
Hi,
I have started a small business, but to get some revenue through ads, I need to get people active and such. How do I do that, also, does anyone know of a site that will allow direct advertisers, so I can make some small cash to pay some expenses?
Thanks!
Start with ads from search engines then work your way up to advertisers because they won’t come unless you have lots of web traffic and trust me they know there is rankings for that.
what is the best way to report board of directors to revenue office for tax evasion?
05.November, 2009
i live in canada ontario. i live in co ownership bulding for 30 years. our board of director is paying themself out of our money illegaly and all the contractors so called are being paid cash no t4 no contract all cash. i reported them to canada revenue office but nobody is doing investigation or audit of this establishment. i even wrote to prime minister of canada and my concern was forwarded to somebody else.
how can i get the governamet to listen. we need to get rid these people. i have been trying this for the pas 3 years and my complaint or report is bouncing all over the governament without any results.
Misappropriation of funds is a crime, not necessarily tax evasion, and therefore outside the jurisdiction of CRA. If you are SURE of the wrongdoing, contact the OPP and report the fraud. They will do an investigation, and if warranted, lay charges and contact CRA if there is a taxation aspect.
