I want to get my business site active, so I can start generating revenue. How can I do that?

Hi,
I have started a small business, but to get some revenue through ads, I need to get people active and such. How do I do that, also, does anyone know of a site that will allow direct advertisers, so I can make some small cash to pay some expenses?

Start with ads from search engines then work your way up to advertisers because they won’t come unless you have lots of web traffic and trust me they know there is rankings for that.
