Daniel Brongiel

Living in Asia for 4 years, Daniel J Brongiel is the Managing Director of Adobe's Mobile and Devices business unit operations for Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role, Mr. Brongiel is an active spokesperson for the company who is responsible for defining strategy and direction for Adobe's mobile agenda targeted at key operators, handset makers, technology providers, content aggregators/providers, services and platform partners. Mr. Brongiel's organization identifies and develops new business opportunities, business models and channels to extend Adobe's market reach.
Prior to Adobe's acquisition of Macromedia, Mr. Brongiel was responsible for starting and building out Macromedia's Mobile and Device business in Asia Pacific. Mr. Brongiel was the Vice President responsible for all Mobile and Devices sales operations in Asia Pacific. Under Mr. Brongiel's leadership, Macromedia signed-up almost 50 new Asia Pacific partners, including companies such as Samsung, LG, Pantech, Reigncom, BenQ, Panasonic, AMD, Compal, Gigabyte, & Inventec.
Previously at Macromedia, Mr. Brongiel was the Global Account Director-IBM. During his tenure, he was involved in developing go-to market strategy, managing product management, engineering, marketing and sales and services.
Early in 1994, Mr. Brongiel joined Computer Associates International, Inc. During his tenure Mr. Brongiel held management positions and managed National Accounts, where he successfully grew the revenue from zero to $25 millions (USD).
Early in 1991, Mr. Brongiel worked for a private technology company. Prior to his departure, Mr. Brongiel headed the engineering organization.
Mr. Brongiel holds a bachelor degree on Electrical Engineering and Technology from Southern Illinois University.

Cheryl Chong is Co-Chief Executive Officer / Chief Marketing Officer of Buongiorno China. Located in China since 1995, Cheryl has nearly ten years of experience in the wireless industry. In 2000, she co-founded eDongcity Information (Shanghai) Co, Ltd, - one of the earliest Service Providers to work with China Mobile in providing Mobile VAS to end-consumers. In January 2007, the company was acquired by Buongiorno Hong Kong (a strategic Joint-Venture between Mitsui & Co., Ltd and Buongiorno S.p.A). Prior to founding eDongcity, Cheryl was responsible for Consumer Marketing Group in Motorola China, managing a marketing communications budget in excess of US $100 million. Based in Beijing head office, Cheryl was behind successful marketing campaigns for mobile devices which contributed to a leading market share position for the brand in China. Before joining Motorola, Cheryl was in the branding and advertising business, serving as Client Service Account Director at J. Walter Thompson Beijing and prior to that, McCann-Erickson Singapore. He has spent the last 10 years in a variety of key positions with Nokia and IBM. Wallis-Brown spent the last two years in Espoo, Finland heading up the global Internet channel organization for Nokia’s Multimedia Business Group. In this role, Wallis-Brown was part of the team that successfully launched the Internet Tablet category of products globally and led the strategic development of Nokia Multimedia’s consumer internet strategy. In this regard he was an integral part of the leadership team that established the next generation of converged digital consumer experiences, for example music and location based services, for Nokia Multimedia.
Prior to Nokia, Wallis-Brown spent five years with IBM Software Group in senior level positions throughout the Asia-Pacific region, during which time he established and led the IBM Software Group Pervasive Computing Software and Services Business.
